Panda's were under threat of extinction but thanks to people around the world they are now only endangered, they are still having a hard time but it's getting better. So well done everyone!!
Panda's live in a few mountainous areas in china, and in 2004 the population was 1,600 in the wild.
A Panda's daily diet consists almost entirely of the leaves, stems, and shoots of various bamboo species.
